 The 2nd Annual HELP FOR HAYDEN BENEFIT RUN IS GOING TO BE ON SATURDAY JUNE 23RD 2012 at the Brandenburg Boat Docks off Main Street in Brandenburg KY! Hayden is a 4 year old boy from Meade Co. KY that has been diagnosied with Chiari 1 Epilepsy. Haydens symptoms are insomnia, sleep apena, seizures, jaw pain, falling down, chronic ear infections, and irritabilty. He has had these symptoms since birth. The run will be held on JUNE 23rd 2012 and will start in Meade Co KY and will take you on a path through some of Kentuckys most beautiful countryside. Registration will start at 10am and kickstands up at noon. There are two ways to register, 1) at the registration table the day of the event. 2) Through the mail, there will be an announcement in the Harrison and Floyd Co IN local papers, along with the local papers of the counties that we will be riding through which are Meade, Hardin, and Bullit. Please send a check or money order to HELP FOR HAYDEN c/o EMERSONS EVENTS & PLANNING 4275 E WHISKEY RUN ROAD GEORGETOWN IN 47122. The Registration fee for this run is $15 per bike which includes one poker hand each additional hands are $5 per person. Hayden's mother Maggie, is a single mom in the Kentucky Air National Guard as a Military Civilian and doesnt have full coverage insurance through the Military and no help from Haydens father to help cover the cost of his medical expenses. I feel that this run and helping Maggie and Hayden is just a small way to help say thanks to Maggie for scraficing time with her child and her family to serve our Country. Also the proceeds raised from this run will be donated to not only Hayden but to conquerchiari.org which helps support groups of Chiari like the local one here in Louisville called KARES 4 Chiari.
